Motor Option

Every single one of our Riser Recliners is offered with a choice of Single Motor or Dual Motor control.

Single Motor

Using only an illuminated two-button (+ Re-set button) handset, the single motor chairs are simple to use. The upwards movement of the footrest and the reclining of the chair back are controlled by only one button, simultaneously adjusting. Although you may pause the movement at any desired position.

The footrest raises first and when the footrest is more or less level with the seat, then the chair back starts to recline.

Both the single and dual motors rise up to assist getting out of the chair. Using the Re-set button, you can quickly return from any reclined or lifted angle to the standard sitting position.

The single motor riser recliner back reclines to a 45 degree angle. The single motor also has the advantage of having a "wall-hugging" mechanism, perfect for where there is little space. This enables the chair to be placed within 3” of a wall and recline perfectly.

Dual Motor

This most popular choice featuring a four-button (+Re-set button) illuminated handset, controlling the dual motor has the greatest range of movement and positions.

Using the latest technology, the dual motor controls the backrest and footrest independently. As the footrest and chair back are independent of each other, you can sit with your back upright and fully raise only the footrest.

Or choose to fully recline (to almost as flat as a bed) the dual motor chair and feel comfortable as your body weight is evenly supported across all the chair surfaces from top to toe.

Both the single and dual motors rise up to aid getting out of the chair. Using the Re-set button, you can quickly return from any reclined or lifted angle to the standard sitting position.

The dual motor riser recliner is required to be 12” away from a wall.
